ISTR PhD Seminar
Project team member Nadja Čekolj participated in the online PhD Seminar organized by the International Society for Third-Sector Research (ISTR) held from 5 to 10 July 2020. During the PhD Seminar, scientific support platforms were organized for doctoral students in the preparation of their dissertations.

Project team member Nena Vukelić published a scientific review paper in the journal Napredak: “Determinants of (future) teachers’ readiness for education for sustainable development“.
British Scholarship Trust
Project team member Nadja Čekolj won a scholarship from British Scholarship Trust for a three-month study visit to the University of Cumbria, Learning, Education and Development Research Center in Lancaster, UK.
During her visit Nadja is collaborating with renowned scientists at the University of Cumbria with the aim of advancing her doctoral research.
ECPR Winter School in Methods and Techniques
Project team members Nena Vukelić and Nadja Čekolj participated in the ECPR Winter School in Methods and Techniques, held on February 14-15 at the University of Bamberg, Germany. The organizer of the Winter School is the European Consortium for Political Research (ECPR).

Project team members Nena Vukelić and Nena Rončević published a paper “Competencies for Education for Sustainability: Student Teachers’ Perspectives” in the Collection of Papers Quality of Education: Global Development Goals and Local Strategies, published by the University of Belgrade (Serbia) and the University of Ghent (Belgium).
ECER 2019 – Hamburg
The European Conference on Educational Research (ECER) entitled ‘Education in an Era of Risk – the Role of Educational Research for the Future’ was held in Hamburg from 2. to 6.9.2019. The conference was organized by the European Educational Research Association.
Nadja Čekolj presented a paper titled “School Volunteering Programmes – Illuminating Students’ Volunteering Engagement in Croatia” (co-author Bojana Ćulum Ilić, Ph.D).
